What she does
I am creative media professional with a heart for improved communities. Over the years, I have developed a flair for capturing the essence of a message and presenting it in a compelling way. Through social media, visual arts and event planning, I create strategies that help organizations engage their target audiences. My career experiences have led me to work in government entities, nonprofits and community journalism. In Detroit, I worked as a media professional alongside civil rights advocates and also covered enterprising community news.
Currently, I am an Urban Fellow at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. studying media and its role in urban faith communities. Upon graduation, I will receive a Masters of Theological Studies with a concentration in Urban Ministry.
My goal is to be a difference-maker in communities and communications. My ultimate passion is to promote messages that inspire people to live their best lives.
